Julian Taylor - fiddle
Julian is mean fiddler, with a passion for the dance music of the North of England. He has played fiddle for over 12 years and graduated in 2007 from the Folk & Traditional Music degree course at Newcastle University. There he was tutored by Kathryn Tickell
and Stewart Hardy to mention but a few. He became one of the founder members of Sunniside Up! in 2005.
He now lives in Lancashire, but is a regular visitor to the Northeast to play with us and to visit his many friends east of the Pennines. Julian is also the founder and workshop leader for the Palatine Fiddlers who meet every week at Mellor Brook Comunity Centre in his native Lancashire.
